Hi, hope you are doing great.
Yes, commerce students can apply for the NDA exam, but they are only eligible for the Army wing not Air Force and Navy.
The NDA exam has two papers:
Mathematics
General Ability test

Mathematics:

The paper is of 300 marks and has total of 120 questions. For Mathematics ,you can just rely on your class 10,11,12 books. There is  no need to seek any other books for it. Try to learn shortcuts and tricks for time management during exam.

General Ability:

This paper consists of two parts : English and General knowledge.
You should read a newspaper daily and should have knowledge of static GK topics . You can rely on Lucent GK for it. For English, prepare well and make your vocabulary rich and practice antonyms , synonyms, passive active voice etc . I.e. general English Grammar.
You can practice via mock tests and previous year examination papers.

Hope it helps.
Best Wishes
