D.Pharm and B.Pharm are both the courses in the Pharmacy education. While they both refer to similar studies, they have differences in the study patterns and the curriculum.

Let's Start one by one..

D.Pharm :

• The D.pharm is a two-year diploma course
• It aims to prepare candidate to work under a licensed pharmacist
• You will be trained in the processing of the medical prescriptions, pharmacy software, usage and effects of various drugs etc.
• You cannot have a drug store by doing just D.Pharm Course.
• The course fees can range from 10000 to 1 lakh based on the college

B.Pharm :

• B.Pharm is a 4-year undergraduate degree programme
• It is a prerequisite course for the people wishing to practice pharmacy
• You will be taught about the preparation and the distribution of various medicines and drugs, chemical and organic properties of all the chemicals used in the preparation of medicine, their interactions, etc.
• After this course, you can work as a pharmacist, drug inspector, medical store owners, etc.
• Course fee can range from 40,000 to 3,00,000 based on college.

Based on the income and the job opportunities B.Pharm has more scope than D.Pharm as it is an advanced level course than the D.Pharm.
