Hey,

Regarding your question, at first I would like to request you to correct your question. Because if you've got 81.5% marks i.e. almost 244 marks, then your rank should be in between 288-632 and since you're a reserved (SC) category candidate, your category rank should be also in between 0-57, not 10720..

Hence it can be assumed that you've got 81.5 percentile in JEE MAIN 2020, not percent (%).

However considering your marks as 81.5 percentile, at first I want to recommend you to go through the Careers360 article regarding the previous year's details of NIT Warangal through the following link:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-warangal

So, after analysing the above article thoroughly it's quite vivid for you also that your ranks and percentile are not sufficient to get admitted in this topmost and esteemed Institution. Because according to the 2019's informations, the last qualifying category rank for SC qouta was 3641 where your category rank is 10720 in this year.

However in this case we all have known to the fact that the official cut-off marks of NIT Warangal for this year has not released by NTA till now.  Moreover it's quite obvious that the cut-off marks for different renowned and eminent NITs change year to year on the basis of several factors like :

  • Total number of appeared canditates
  • Total number of successful candidates
  • Difficulty level of the question paper of JEE MAIN 2020
  • Previous year's cut-off trend
  • Total number of available seats

Still one thing can be easily assumed that the cut-off ranks can never be too much increased this year so that the previous year's cut-off rank 3641 can be turned into 10720 i.e. it's just impossible for you to get opportunity of studying in this prestigious institution with your obtained marks and percentile.

So please leave the hope for NIT Warangal and try for the State Level Counselling to get chance in the topmost State Government and private Engineering colleges suitable as per your rank (as you're a SC cateogory student, you've enough possibilities in this regard).

You can also predict your admission possibilities in JOSSA and State Counselling through the following college predictor tool:

Wish you all the best !!!
