Dear student,

If you have got allotted any seat in josaa then uit can accept it by paying a seat acceptance fees. Now, this year, as a part of the admission process in NIT+ System, it is mandatory for each candidate to pay PARTIAL ADMISSION FEES between 9th to 13th, November, 2020, who has accepted his/her seat in between one to six round of josaa counselling, and wants to retain his/her allotted seat . For this you have to login to your account on JoSAA portal and must pay the partial admission fee, otherwise the allotted seat will be cancelled and treated as vacant .

Now, as you have paid the seat acceptance fees in josaa counseling, then it is refundable, if you have withdrawn your seat or your seat gets cancelled.
Your seat acceptance fees will be refunded after deducting the processing charges of Rs. 2000.

Now as for partial admisson fees of Rs. 40000 ( for Gen/obc/ews ) or Rs. 20000 ( for sc /st/ pwd), then it's a new thing introduced this year, and the refund of Fees deposited at the admitted institute (if applicable), will be governed by admitted institute rules.
Now, this partial admission fees will get adjusted or not in the fees of alloted institute, this will be quite difficult to tell. Because this is the new thing and introduced this year.
But according to me, this fees can also get adjusted in 1st semester fees for alloted institutes.
But nothing can be said because the csab special round 2020 business rules is not released yet.

Now, as for csab special round counselling, if you will participate then you have to give Rs. 36500 ( for gen/obc/ews) or Rs. 16500 (for sc/st/pwd) as registration fees.

Now, as taking for csab special round counseling, then, if you got alloted any seat in csab special round counseling, then you don't have to pay the seat acceptance fees (if you have retained your seat of josaa), as you have paid it once. Otherwise if your josaa seat for cancelled then you will get refund of your seat acceptances fees and if you accept any seat in csab special round, then you have to give the seat acceptance fees.
The Participation Fees and Seat Acceptance Fees paid by the you will be adjusted in the Institute Fee.
