If you are aiming for jobs in the near future then you must go with either ECE(Electronics and Communication Engineering) or CSE(Computer Science and Engineering) . Both of these branches have very good job opportunities. It is also true that interests matter a lot while deciding the branch but as you have said you are choosing branch for Polytechnic then all the branches are pretty much new to you. So it is best for you to go with these two branches as you can easily get jobs in these branches, unlike other branches.

If you want to go for a job then do job, and after that, if you want to do engineering then you can go for BTech also. For a BTech in Computer Science, there are almost 100% placements from almost 90% of the colleges in the country.

The only drawback for CSE is there are no government jobs in CSE, so if you are planning for government jobs then you must go with ECE as there are a lot of government jobs in ECE and are increasing with time.
