Yes Indian Maritime University does provide Diploma in Nautical Sciences which is a 1 year course (Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc (Applied Nautical Science) ). The total seats for DNS in various IMU Campuses are:
- Mumbai: 80
- Chennai: 80
- Cochin: 30
Last year cutoff in Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc (Applied Nautical Science) course was Closing rank 161 in IMU CET {General Category}
