The eligibility criteria for UG admissions in VIT is defined as the candidate should have scored minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).
The minimum aggregate of 50% is required for the SC/ST candidates and also those candidates who are residents of J&K ,Laddakh and north eastern states though it is subjected to submission of valid documents to prove their community or nativity.

Hello learner,

It is not mandatory to give improvement exam in all the subjects. The eligibility criteria for getting admissions at VIT is you should have 60% aggregate in PCM or PCB as IITs and NITs. If suppose, your score falls below 60% in any one of the three slivers, then the improvement exam comes into picture.

It is adequate to focus on that specific fragment where you still need some attention to come up.

Good Luck!
