Hi Faishal, hope you are doing well, jee exam is not that important for bsc courses but if you want to get good colleges you need to score good in jee exam. So jee mains exam helps you to get admission in good colleges, in case you want to join in some good private colleges jee mains exam will be of no use

My dear , jee exam is conducted to get students into engineering from IIT's and NIT's . Also , jee is a gate way to join B.Sc into colleges like IISc and IISERs . So if you want do B.Sc from IIT's you can go with jee.
