Hey!
The basic eligibility criteria that one needs to fulfil in order to get admission in B.Sc are as follows:
- Students must have completed or be enrolled in a class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised institution.
- Some institutions additionally have minimum percentage requirements ranging from 50 to 60%, whereas many institutes only require a pass grade in class 12.
- Although there are no age restrictions, certain institutions do have age requirements.
- Students in the reserved category are given concessions in terms of percentage and age.
So, according to the percentage you have mentioned that you have scored, you are definitely eligible for the course provided you fulfil other eligibility criteria as well.
Entrance tests are held by the appropriate institutes/universities to grant admission to the B.Sc programme. There are also other entrance tests that are held in a group to provide admission to a large number of institutes, such as the CUCET, which is held for admission to 14 core universities. Some colleges just accept students based on their grades in high school and do not require an entrance exam.
Some of the entrance exams conducted for the course are as follows:
Allahabad University Undergraduate Admission Test (UGAT)
Banaras Hindu University Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET)
Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET)
NEST
GGSIPU CET
