see there is no lateral entry admission process in b.tech course at jamia milia Islamia University.  Admission to B.Tech./B.Arch. program of Jamia Millia Islamia will be based on the final rank of JEE Main – which  conducts  by NTA (National Test Agency). also you need to separately fill the application form of JMI to admission for b.tech course which would available on JMI website.

so now question is the admission entrance exam, i.e jee main. you need to participate in jee main exam, which is based on 12th syllabus. so you have to again study 10+2 syllabus to secure a decent rank for admission to JMI.
