Hi aspirant,

Yes, both the papers are taken into consideration while calculating the cutoff scores. In JEE Advanced you need to clear two cutoffs to qualify the exam :

1) You need to clear the overall cutoff which generally lies around 30 percent of the total marks , last year it was around 90-95 , so it varies each year according to difficulty of exam .

2) You need to clear the minimum cutoff of all subjects , that will be your combined marks of paper 1 and paper 2 of each subject should be greater than 10 percent of total marks of that subject . This is actually around 12-15 marks every year
