The eligibility for applying for scholarship for engineering students is -
- This scholarship scheme is available for students who belong to a financially weaker sector and can’t afford to complete their education.
- For Post Matric Fellowship Program, the annual family income must be below 2 lakhs.

The annual family income must be as follows for UP Pre Matric Fellowship Program:
- General: ₹ 25,546 for Urban Area students and ₹ 19,884 for Rural Area students
- Minority Category Students: ₹ 1,00,000
- ST/SC Category Students: ₹ 30,000
- OBC Category Students: ₹ 30,000
Thus if you fulfil the above mentioned eligibility criteria you are eligible to apply for it.
