Hie Ansh, i would like to tell you something about your question. I hope you have achieved a good score in your JEE exam and from your question it looks like that you want to pursue CSE/ECE branch, both of which have lots of potential.

Talking about universities and colleges, KIIT is a autonomous college that is its under the status for deemed to be university whereas chandigarh university is independent/private body and is new though the placement structure of both institute is quite aggresive and a lot of big companies like amazon, deloitte, IBM etc visits the campus for recruitment process. No doubt, there will be abundant placement opportunities.

I would suggest you to go for NIT's or CFT's that is centrally funded institutes if you have a good score but at the end of the day its your choice. Location can also play a key role in deciding where you want to go but in my opinion you can should go for CSE in chandigarh university as i have seen my friends studying there and now they are in amazon and microsoft in bangalore. You will get a good exposure. As i have no freinds in KIIT but i do know that its is a superb college.

Wow ! It's like you have bought your fav thing from two different place. Both of the institute's top and hold good records of placements on an avg. Of 7-10 lakhs per annum and highest packages are around 15L in both of the colleges. But one things the colleges environment are completely different choice is up to you.
