For the Entrance test for Bachelors courses the medium of all the tests are in English, except where a question paper is set in a language other than English.
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), founded in 1920, by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, ranks as one of the top universities in India having a NIRF Ranking of 17 in the University category. Also, AMU has acquired a position in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) 2020. AMU has been ranked in 8-9th position, nationally.
