To study M Tech you have to clear out GATE Exam.

After the students successfully obtain eligible marks in GATE, they must appear for the CCMT counselling rounds. Subsequent to the seat allotment candidates have to get the documents verified and pay the NIT Srinagar admission fees.

First of all you need to appear for GATE examination and have to pass it with valid score according to the cutoff of National Institute of Technology Srinagar. After the entrance examination the final admission is provided on the basis of ccmt counselling.  The eligibility criteria of National Institute of Technology Srinagar master of technology is to complete bachelor of engineering or bachelor of Technology with at least 60% marks or 6.5 cgpa in the aggregate. The total fees of master of technology is 160000. Per year fees is 80000.

Gate is the entrance exam which you can give to get admission in nit for mtech . You can appear for it . This year iit Kharagpur will conduct this exam .Also

it is possible to apply for admission in NIT without GATE . You will be required to satisfy the minimum criteria for qualifying marks in your bachelor's degree as well as provide work experience and some NITs also conduct their own entrance exam which you can appear for..
