Qualifying Examination - Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a recognised board.

For B.Arch admission in institutes other than IIITs, NITs and CFITs
Candidates should have scored 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent.

No, you can not apply for joint entrance examination. Mention below is the eligibility criteria for joint entrance examination containing who can apply for examination:
- Anyone who have completed his or her 10 + 2 from are recognised board such as Central Board of Secondary Education or any recognised State Board.
- Any candidate who has done 2 year course of joint services wing of the National Defence Academy.
- Any candidate who has done a diploma which is recognised by All India Council of technical education or any recognised state board.
