First of all, for any entrance exam preparation, always go through the previous papers. Uunderstand the structure of papers and weightage of the topics covered in every subject.
There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising 100 questions with the following
The obejct paper which consists of 100 marks
- Mathematics 30 Marks
- Science (Physics, Chemistry and Life Science) 50 Marks
- General Knowledge 10 Marks
- Indo-Islamic Culture 10 Marks
For this particular exam, All you have to do is being strong with already learned concepts and basics.
Be thorough with MATHS and SCIENCE syllabus from your 8th - 10th standard. Revise the maths and science NCERT books. Solve the examples and sample questions. One can be strong with concepts only be practising the application problmes, the more you practise, the more you strengthen application skills which is beneficial to your future even after this entrance exam. Also make notes from lessons and summaries for the other sujects like Geography and Economics. Revise you notes consistently.
For Indo-Islamic Culture, read abbout Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and also go through Naaz guide, make list of already asked question and keep studying them.
Buy a GK notebook and follow current affairs too.
At last, practice and solve mock tests and old question papers for time management to give exam and answer effieciently in time.
My prcatise tip : Maintain a CDF notes i.e concepts, Defintion and formulae notes for yourself to make note of all signifiicant concepts and information. This improves your memory too.
