It is quite okay if you donot have interest in the course you are pursuing currently. You can still select your course and can make a good living from it as well. See, if you want to go for non conventional field then it is also okay.
Civil engineers usually donot get good jobs these days in their particular domain until or unless they switch to some other field or tech world.
