Yes you can appear for Jee advanced in 2021 even you had appeared for it in 2020 if you have appeared for class xii in 2020
The maximum number of attempts that the candidate can attempt Jee advanced is two times in two consecutive years.
For Jee advanced the candidate must have been born on or after October 1, 1996. SC/St and pwd candidates will get a relaxation of 5 years ( born after October 1, 1991)
Jee advanced eligibility criteria for 2021
The candidate must have qualified 10+2 in 2020 or 2021 for the first time.
The eligibility criteria of minimum 75% marks in classes 12 has been waived off for her advanced 2021 due to Covid 19 pendamic .
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
The candidate should be within top 20 category percentile of the qualifying exam
While calculating aggregate marks, the candidate should take into account scored of physics, chemistry, mathematics, languages and any one other subject

When did you appear for class 12th examination?

JEE advanced 2021 eligibility criteria is provided below:-
To be eligible for jee advanced
-) you need to pass your class 12th with at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least 65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or must be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 examination. For this year i. e 2021 this percentage requirement in class 12th has been lifted off.
-) You can give JEE advanced examination for the maximum of consecutive 2 years starting from the year of appearing for your 12th examination i. e to be eligible for JEE advanced 2021 your 12th board examination appearing year should be either 2021 or 2020 .
So, it doesn't matter even if you have appeared for the jee advanced 2020 ,if you are class 12th board appearing is 2020 then you will be eligible for JEE advanced 2021 but if you have appeared for your class 12th in the year 2019 or before it then you are not eligible for JEE advanced 2021
-) There is upper age limit, according to which to be eligible for jee advanced 2021,you should be born on or after 1st October 1996
-) you must qualify JEE main to be eligible for jee advanced

Yes you can appear for JEE-Advance 2021 if you have passed your class 12th in 2020 because the maximum attempts for JEE-Advance is two consecutive years and also you should be able to clear the JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-off to become eligible for JEE-Advance 2021.
See the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2021 the final result will be released after all four attempts will be completed and the final result will be on the basis of your best score amongst different attempts.
