Sir Maine josaa me counseling krayi h or clg bhrne me glti kr di thi jisse mujhe 7 round me koi clg nhi Mila ab age mai kya kru jisse b.tech
YOu can try for the special round of josaa
Special rounds (csab) are conducted after 7 main Rounds.
Also its quite beneficial for both students and institutions as no seats are wasted. In the case when any Home State Quota seats remain vacant, such seats are also converted to All India Quota and will be filled on the basis of merit in the given category.
Also, OBC/GEN EWS/PWD seats are converted to All India Quota seats except SC/ST reserved seats.
Let me tell you the whole procedure:- (As last year I opted to participate in special round and got the college I wanted in 1st round itself.)
- After 7th round- you have to report to the respective nits/iiits/gifts you are alloted to (And its a must otherwise your seat would go null Fee will be refunded after deducting Rs 1500.) with all the required documents as mentioned on their site or be it anywhere, in some cases you have to even contact them regarding the list of required documents.
- After Reporting at Allotted Institute, the candidate can also withdraw the allotted seat, Fee will be refunded after deducting some amount.
- After reporting there you would be asked by the allotment officers whether you want to opt for special round or not. And of course, your answer would be yes.
- After it just go to csab 2019 site and pay the required fees there and wait for further rounds to come.
- If you want to retain your Josaa seat you have to pay further fees for the special round but if you aren't interested in the seat allocated to you in 7th round the same fee will be adjusted in theSpecial Round Participation Fee.
- After results of 1st special round (now this is important point pay attention!!!)
You will have two choices. → Either accept the seat you are getting in special round 1 or decline the seat and go with the seat you got in round 7th.
- All the fees are adjustable in your institute fees or is refundable and none of your money would be lost until this round.
- If you opt to sit for further rounds i.e. special round 2 you have to leave your seat of the 7th round and your money will not be refunded too and in case you don’t accept your seat allocated to you in special round 2 your money won’t be refunded back.
- If a seat is allotted, the candidate can Surrender the allotted seat by choosing the option “Surrender and NOT Participating in Next Round”. In such case, the Participation Fee (and Seat Acceptance Fee, if paid) will be refunded after deducting Rs 5000.
- If no seat is allotted and the candidate wants to EXIT from the counselling, he/she can RESTRICT all his/her choices, so that (s)he cannot be allotted a seat in next round. In such case, the Participation Fee (and Seat Acceptance Fee, if paid) will be refunded after deducting Rs 1500
→ Do read each of the above points carefully and also read the business rules of Josaa and CSAB carefully because there are high chances that some rules may change either in your favour or against it.
→ However, Josaa won’t do any fraud or injustice with you and your money its your own responsibility to enquire small details while you report at the reporting centre and also you can enquire by contacting their toll-free numbers :
