Yes, absolutely. You can pursue B.SC Optometry after the completion of 12th. The eligibility criteria in order to pursue B.SC Optometry, you have to have completed your 10th and 12th with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of 50% or more than that as well. Admission process for B.SC Optometry is of two types- Entrance based and Merit Based. Job opportunities are worth good. You can end up in government sectors as well as in private sectors.

Hi.

YES you can opt for B.Sc in Optometry course. Depending on the University you wish to pursue it from, it will have their own entrance exam.

However, the eligibility criteria is as follows:

  • The candidates must have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board of education with the minimum marks required.
  • The minimum marks required for admission into BSc Optometry  courses may vary from institute to institute, but the students are expected to have at least 50% in PCB/PCM/PCMB group.
