Hello
The minimum qualification required to pursue the above mentioned Polytechnic courses is – 10th passed from a recognized board. 12th passed students are also eligible to pursue these programs. Government, reputed and established Polytechnic Colleges conduct merit based admission process. They accept deserving candidates, who have scored valid marks in relevant entrance exam (like Polycet).
Since you are in your 2nd yer of BA I dont really see the point as the Right time to go for Polytechnic is after 10th. Moreover polytechnic is a diploma course and for engineering purpose. Since you have not mentioned which subjects you had iin your class 12th I am supposing you to be from an arts background. An Arts student is eligible to go for a part time or distance learning diploma course in engineering if he/ she fulfills the following criteria.
- The student should successfully pass out his high school.
- The student should have scored at-least 50% marks in both maths and science in class 10th.
-
Various scholarships are granted by State / Central Government to the students belonging to:
Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC)
Economically weaker section students
Minority students
Complete details about the scholarship by State / Central Government can be obtained from the admission office of the institute. All the best.
