See UPSC is an examination which requires a special attention that is to get a job through UPSC you need to study specifically as per the UPSC syllabus. There is no specific subjects specified to be an IAS. Also, the papers marks its syllabus from the Humanities section. So, there are so such subjects in B.SC or any other stream as the syllabus is usually different. UPSC CSE involves History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Sociology and many more. So, you can opt for any of the subjects in B.SC and prepare along for UPSC CSE. You can choose your B.SC Subjects in Optional papers which accounts for an important 500 marks in UPSC CSE. So, choose the subject which you like more.
