Engineering college, minimum percentage in 12th standard , varies from University to University, also colleges to colleges.



Every University or a college may have their individual entrance exams (private or semi private) or common engineering entrance exam (govt like IIT mains and advance for govt college and other similar govt college exams).



So we can say that percentage is a criteria , only to make a student eligible and to be considered for the admission in the engineering college.



But for your reference, for admission in any engineering college you must secure atleast 60% in both senior secondary and 10th. As per the information provided by you, you are eligible to get into any btech college.

• The minimum eligibility criteria for Indian Nationals -

Pass in 10+2, or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
