It is not possible for a student to get admission in any institution, whether it is private or government. The basic one can do to study B.Tech in any reputed college is through entrance exams. The most common is JEE Advance to get into IITs. There are other entrance exams as well like WBJEE, KEAM, AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, MHT CET etc. And university or college level exams such as BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE and UPESEAT.

Thus, there is no chance of getting into a good college with your course without giving entrance exam.
