I assume you are asking about  JEECUP exam, Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic) – 2020. the eligibility criteria of the exam is different for different courses. for diploma courses candidates must passed 10th standard exam from a recognized education board with relevant subject , for example mathematics and physics, chemistry with 35% marks in aggregate, and subject wise marks criteria is 50% marks in mathematics and 50% marks in physics and chemistry for diploma in engineering. since the diploma course is taken by students  generally after completing 10th or 12th, so inter character certificate/ migration is necessary. however its totally depends on particular college admission process. for more Information follow the Information brochure: https://jeecup.nic.in/WebInfo/Handler/FileHandler.ashx?i=File&ii=186&iii=Y
