Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), formerly Kanpur University, is a public state university located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses in multiple streams such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Applications, Management, and Medicine.

Entrance exam for admission to various Kanpur University Courses is usually conducted in the month of May every year. Application form can be filled online on payment of INR 600 (INR 400 for reserved categories) by Credit/ Debit Card or Net-Banking or through Challan.

Note:

Kanpur University (CSJMU) conducts an Online Entrance Test to offer admission in BBA, BCA, B.Ed, B.Sc, LL.B, B.P.Ed, B.Li.Sc and BFA courses at UG level.
B.Tech and B.Pharm admissions are granted on the basis of a valid score in UPSEE conducted by APJAKTU. Check UPSEE Cut off
MBBS and BDS admission is based on a valid score in NEET UG followed by university-based counselling.
MD and MS admission is based on a valid score in NEET PG while DM, M.Ch admission is based on NEET SS score.
Admission to MBA and MCA is also based on a valid score in UPSEE followed by counselling.
Candidates have to appear in a university-based online entrance test for M.Pharm, M.Sc, MA, LL.M, MSW, M.Ed, M.Li.Sc & M.P.Ed courses. Final admission is based on counselling and document verification.
Ph.D. admission is based on CSJMUET entrance followed by an interview round for the selected candidates.
GATE/ CSIR NET/ DST-INSPIRE/ ICAR/ ICMR/ UGC NET/ SLET qualified candidates are exempted from CSJMUET. Such candidates need to appear in the interview round only.
