Firstly i congratulate you to get a good rank which is 1094. Now, moving to your query. Let me clarify that you have a good rank to get admission in nay of the government college for B. Tech for any branch that would either be CSE, ECE, EEE or mechanical or civil.

But the problem comes here is that you want the lateral entry for B. Tech civil which is not impossible but somewhat difficult because msot of the government colleges do not provide admissions for lateral entry for any of the branch given above.

But don't loose hope you can get a college based on your merit screening in your previous diploma or course. But you have to write LEET exam for your lateral admission or you can go for chitkara University.

LEET exam is conducted for Diploma holders who want to get admission in B.E or B.tech courses. This is national level exam. But you can also apply for state level exam.
