Since your gen rank is 70268 and obc rank is 22672 ,first of all you should know that at this rank you can't get admission in any government college under aktu like IET,KNIT Rajkiya engineering college etc

Based on your rank you are not supposed to get a government college. You are not even get good private Colleges based on your rank. As it also depends on the cutoff list. The cutoff list depends on the number of students appeared in the exam and the level of paper whether it is easy, moderate or difficult.It also depends on your choice. If your choice is CSE or IT then it becomes very less chance to get a good private college also. But if you are interested in any other branch(Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering.... ) . You may get some advantage due to obc category. The private Colleges where you can get chance are:

1. Krishna Engineering College Ghaziabad

2. IIMT Greater Noida

3. ITS Engineering College Greater Noida

4. Sharda University Greater Noida

5. Inderprastha Engineering College Ghaziabad

Obviously these Colleges are not so good in terms of placement and academics. You can get even CSE/ IT branch in these Colleges ( mentioned above ). You have eto go through counselling properly. Give your preference in the first round of counselling. You have to go through counselling till last round . But you have to give your choice a according to cutoff list.Give  the name of Colleges where you may have chance according to your rank. But you have no other option other than these if you want to take admission this year. Otherwise you can dropped this year and do preparation for UPTU exam and attempt it next year. After getting good rank you are able to get a good College according to your choice. You have no any restrictions. You can know about each College by going through these using their respective websites.You can even predict your college according to your rank. But in my suggestion you have to go prepare for this exam year and attempt this next year. But it's your choice completely.

Your jee mains rank only not enough to know where you will get seat in nits.so, you are  belong to obc category so, u have to get 75% marks in your board exams. If you got 75% marks then you have only 40% chances to get seat in nits or iiits.In iiits there is very very less chance in nits there is a chance to get seat. So apply for joosa counselling you will get seat but u have to apply for all 23nits and all branches in tht nits. If you didn't get seat then other exams if you have written like eamcet/kcet/appgecet then you will get best colleges in this.

With that rank , you won't be able to get college in the normal round of counselling .

Wait for the special round of counselling , some colleges like nits of the north east might open for you provided you have a home quota.

Otherwise some options are iiit Bhagalpur , iiit Ranchi etc.

I would tell you to try for private colleges like thapar jiit Noida instead for waiting till the special round .

These colleges are also good and you will get preferred branches too
