Hello Aspirant,
See for placements some top MNC have their own criteria of shortlisting candidates for their interview process and that criteria consists of rating scheme like the candidate should have 6-6-6 rating means minimum 60% in class 10th, 60% in 12th and 60% in graduation. But it is only in few companies so you might be ineligible for those companies but only as a fresher once you get experience from other companies then for senior roles there is no any barrier like above, so then you can go for those companies.
For IITs you need to have good rank in JEE-Advance for which class 10th score doesn't matter at all but your class 12th score matters so focus on class 12th and try to secure more than 75% marks in class 12th PCM because if you won't be able to secure 75% marks in class 12th then you would not be eligible for JEE-Advance and without appearing for JEE-Advance you cannot get into any of the IITs for admission to engineering courses.
"However this percentage is relaxed with temporary effect due to the loss of educational resources during the pandemic but will be restored in future, so be prepared for it."
