you can try for your home state and lower north eastern nit's , in these college cutoff is generally lesser .
According to your rank and category , you can try for iiit's like-
1) iiit pune
2) iiit bhagalpur
3) iiit una
4) iiit surat
5) iiit kalyani and other iiit's
you can also try for other gfti which take admission under josaa like -
1) bit mesra
2) pec chandigarh
also participate in csab, so you can get a decent branch like production and metallurgy , in them .
Do apply for home state counselling also as you can get some good state government engineering colleges in your state . Hence apply for the csab round and state government counselling and you might get a good college .

So , with your JEE Mains rank, and even with your EWS rank, I'm really sorry to inform you that it's almost impossible for you to get a seat in NITs or IIITs, because as you might be knowing, these colleges have really high cutoffs , being the top colleges in the country. You can try out for some of the reputed private colleges like LPU, SRM, Amity university, etc. , they are really good as well.
