The lower age limit to appear for National Defence Academy Entrance Test is 16.5 years and upper age limit is 19.5 years. Considering the age criteria you can appear for NDA 1 2022, NDA 2, 2022 and NDA 1 2023 provided you must have passed 10+2 or must be appearing in 10+2 examination in the year 2022. You will have 3 attempts to appear for NDA. If you have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry then you are eligible to opt for Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. If you have passed 10+2 in any stream you are eligible to opt only Indian Military Academy.

NDA/NA National Defence Academy - Naval Academy is an examination conducted by UPSC-Union Public Service Commission. This is an examination for students wanting to make a career in defence forces- Indian Army, Airforce and Navy.

The exam is conducted twice every year - in April and in September. Successful candidates get admission in National Defence Academy and Naval Academy.

following is the eligibility for NDA examination -

• Nationality - Indian

• Age limit - 16.5 to 19.5 years

• Educational Qualification - Passed 12th standard with maths and physics.

Today you are 17 years 0 months 17 days old and in the September, 2023 you will be less that 19 and half years old. So till then you have 4 attempts for NDA starting from next year. You can attempt NDA twice in the next year and I'm the year 2023.
