Hi,

It all depends upon what course your daughter wants to opt for. Admissions to most B. Sc courses like agriculture, Fisheries Sciences, dairy sciences, veterinary and engineering courses are provided through the karnataka CET in which your daughter needs to get rank under 75000 that is about 120/240 in total to get engineering. For B. Sc courses more number in biology will get higher rank so focus should be given more on biology. In physics and chemistry scoring 30/60 will do. As CET combines 50% marks of PUC and 50% marks from CET it is important to score well in 2nd PUC too. Although for veterinary science entirely the score of CET Is taken in consideration. Scoring around 80% in 2nd PUC will get you the desired course and college. The cutoff also depends upon your category.
