Congradulation on clearing GATE 2019 with very good score, as you may know GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. GATE is conducted jointly by the IISC and seven IIT's.

Every year as competition increases the cutoff's for the entering such institutions are also raised.

You can check the chances of you getting into an IIT or a NIT by comparing the cutoff's the institutions had last year.
