Index Medical College is one of the eight private medical colleges located in Madhya Pradesh.
Private medical colleges in M.P. offer seats to candidates who are not of M.P. domicile. It is done through a special All India Unreserved Category (AIUR).
Some colleges offer AIUR seats based on Management/State quota while some offer under NRI quota.
For example,
Index college offers AIUR seats to non M.P. domiciles as part of its NRI quota while RKDF medical college offers AIUR seats as part of Management/State quota.
In 2017, Index college selected 13 candidates based on NEET and who were non M.P. domiciles through its NRI quota.
The cutoff for 2017 NEET was- 139 marks out of 720 .
