Sorry to say but with the marks and the percentile that you have scored, it is not possible for you to get admission in any NIT of south or any other good NIT. You should try for lower ranked NITs like Sikkim, Srinagar, Agartala, Silchar, etc.

It will be difficult to get IIT's or NIT's for MTech in any region with this GATE score as this time competetion will be tough.

But there is a chance you can try Research programs {M.tech (research)/MSc(Engg)/PhD}as it doesn’t require a too high GATE score. These days the cutoffs for research programs are relaxed for those students who have good academic record throughout, starting from class X. There are instances where a good academic record and a normal GATE score (> 450) have also got interview calls from IISc ECE. This trend is seen in some old IITs as well. But one has to prove his/her capability in the interview, by proper reasoning and derivations for the questions posed.
