Hello aspirant !
As u have scored 187209 general category in jee mains and you are willing to get admission in government college
I feeling sad to inform you that there are almost no chances to get admission in any government college since your rank is very much more than the min required rank for govt colleges like IITs,NITs ,GFTIs
The reason is that -
Marks in mains is not the correct
parameter to decide that you will get a
seat in any colleges under
mains(government colleges). we can
decide it by your rank.
if your rank is below 28k(most
accurately) in jee mains, then you can
get seat in government colleges under
mains.(max upto second round of
counseling)
But try to get below 20k at least
because,you have good range choices
in your hand and opt for the course
which you are interested.
You are only required to get a minimum rank
as required by the college you desire. To get
admission into any college, you just have to
check the cut off rank of that particular
college.
Suppose, if you want admission in XYZ
college and that college has set a cut off rank
of 80,000 in the stream that you want the
admission into. And, if you get a rank of
76,677 then, you will be allowed to take part
in the counselling of that college and have a
chance to get admission in that college. If you
get a rank higher than 80,000 then you would
not be allowed to take admission.
To conclude, You need to get a rank desired
bu the college you want to get admission into
and the marks scored will not be referred
for admission
I hope you are very clear about your admission

Hello Jay!
Yes yoy may get GFTIs for sure at least by the end of coubselling process. If special round counselling is conducted then you nay get some lower NITs or some GFTIs. Let me telk you that in special round conducted by CSAB, the cutoff falls drastically than expected. Make sure to stay updated.
All the best!
