National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the admission to Navy, Air Force and Army. NDA/NA is conducted twice a year in April and September. NDA I is conducted in April while NDA 2 is held in November. The notification of NDA is released along with the application form. The Commission will also release the facility to withdraw application form for the candidates who will register successfully. Candidates who are between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age can apply for NDA exam. The selection process of NDA exam comprises two stages – written and Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview.

Dear Aman, NDA stands for National Defence Academy. It is a Joint Services Academy for Indian Armed forces for its 3 categories. Here in this Accademy cadets who have been selected for the Indian Army, Navy and Air force train together. Later they are deported to their specific training camps.
