The behala institute of allied health science is approved under many schemes like NITI AYOG, skill development organization of India( approved by Indian government), and also from government of Bengal for optometry and paramedical courses.

There is BSS diploma in opometry available at Behala Institute of allied health sciences.

After successful completion of the training candidate will be able to take basic eye care with Refractometer, Clinical Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology knowledge. Care of Optics with knowledge of Refraction & Optometric instrumentations. Trainees will be able to handle Clinical Ophthalmology, Practice of Refraction through Optometric Workshop knowledge. Community Optometry & Optometry Nursing will be capabilities of all the trainees.
