Hello, Yes it is possible for you to get into VIT chennai, but your rank is more than 5k, so you would be in 2nd category fees.

arun kulkarni It will be around 3lacks tution fee. I got 15k rank and got seat in cse in category 3 . As one of my frd is 11k she got cse in category 2. Firstly vit is obviously super university u can undoubtedly join if that was category 2 u will be able to expose to many different people around india. As completing cse in vit University gives u a lot of chances for ur future. All the best for ur future.
