No, you cannot get into NIT / IIT with your jee main + advanced combined rank.

This is because,

• Admission in NITs is solely on jee main rank
• Admission in IITs is solely on jee advanced rank

Coming to cut off for obc ncl for GFTIs,

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains as closing rank keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

Closing rank for some of the GFTIs  for which closing rank goes low are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 for obc category  :-

So, to get a seat in GFTIs you should get at least around 20k-21k OBC rank i. e around 92-93  percentile in jee main.

This prediction of is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc
