According to the latest information the Veterinary Council of India (VCI), has declared that from now onwards all the AIPVT 2017 will not be taken by VCI due to certain reasons. So, the students who want to enroll with the government and private sector Veterinary Colleges to graduate in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course will have to appear in the NEET exams commencing from 2017.
As every student interested in Vet Sciences Education knows that there are 15% seats on all India basis. The merit to get admission in any government recognized Veterinary College will be made according to the numbers achieved in NEET exams.
Moreover, the candidates are informed to appear in NEET UG 2017 instead of AIPVT 2017, as they do previously. The first NEET exams were conducted in May 2017 that also included Veterinary course candidates and merit was made through the NEET scores gained by the Vet candidates.
AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance Examination(AIEEE) which was conducted by CBSE until 2012. Later in 2013 AIEEE (https://nextincareer.com/aieee/) is changed into JEE Main. Earlier those who clear the AIEEE was eligible for the IIT-JEE. With the scorecard of AIEEE students were eligible to take admission in the National Institute of Technology (NITs) and to appear for IIT-JEE exam. In the present era, AIEEE is nothing but the JEE Main.
Earlier under AIEEE if candidates have to take admission in one of the IITs then they had to clear AIEEE in order to be eligible for IIT-JEE exam. And as per the score in IIT-JEE, candidates were selected for IITs. Now all things have come under one roof i.e JEE.
There is no difference as such.
