Syllabus-

1.Basic Concepts of Instrumentation- Basic principles of measurement, standards of measurements and theory errors, static characteristics, dynamic characteristics, transducers.

2. Fundamentals of Electronics and Devices- Electronic emission and dynamics, semi conductor devices- diodes and transistors, rectifiers, regulated power supply.

3. Electronic Circuits and their Applications- Amplifiers, oscillators, high frequency devices, integrated circuits

4. Energy Physics- Conventional sources of energy, solar energy, biomass energy fundamentals, biomass utilization, and other forms of energy sources

5. Instrumentation Analysis- Visible, UV and IR Spectroscopy, X-Rays and Laser, Raman and NMR Spectroscopy, Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, Analyzing Instruments

6. Laser Physics- Fundamentals of LASER, Production of LASER, Industrial Applications of LASER, Lasers in Medicine, Lasers in Communication
