Sir please tell me when we are bsc(honours) physics time we need to read what the syllabus of mathematics?

Hey !
B.Sc (Hons.) physics or Bachelor of Science is an undergraduate course. It deals with all the fundamental which involves the study of matter and it's motion through time and space. Basically it's a 3 year undergraduate course in physics. The candidates who are willing to take up this course must possess a minimum of 50% of score in their 10+2 or equivalent examinations in science stream in a recognized board school. Coming to your query, assuming it to be the syllabus of Mathematics in B.Sc (Hons.) physics, Mathematics is taught in every year of this course. In the first year you will be having subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Electricity and Magnetism etc and also Maths which include Vector Algebra, Vector Calculus (Differentiation and Integration of Vectors etc), Transformation of Vectors, Tensor notation, Gauss, green and strokes theorms etc.
In the second year you will be having subjects like Vibrations and wave Optics, Computer programming fundamentals, Thermal physics and Maths which include, Co-ordinates and their inter relations, Delta function( properties and all), Taylor series expansion, First and second order differential equations (with constant coefficient) etc.
In the final year you will be having Partial differential equations, Laplace equations, boundary value problems, orthogonal functions, Fourier series and Fourier integrals and transforms etc. I have listed out all the main topics in Maths which contains many sub-topics. (Which will be taught in the course).
Hope this helps
