see that depends totally on your mental disposition. a lot of students make it by self study alone. but then coaching classes always helps. they keep you under pressure with lots of assignments, tests, lectures, dpps and that helps a lot. but then you should be able to cope up with the pressure. you need to be in pace with them. because if you start lagging then its hard to come at the same pace. so coaching definitely helps. also make sure you get your concepts properly cleared.thats most important.
there are a lot of coaching classes, depends on the place you live in and what you have available there. and then there is the option of kota obviously.

It depends on the peronal abilty, for few people they require class room learning so they may need to attend the coaching classes where as for few people self study is enough.
So decide wisely wether you need coaching classes or can manage with self study.
