I am assuming you are from general category. Based on your overall academic profile, you will need to score atleast 99.6 percentile to get a call for the next round.
All the best!
But if you are a general category student and have done engineering in your graduation then seeing last few years trend you actually need 99.67+ percentile to get a call from IIM A.
Other than this there is also a min score which is made on the basis of parameters like 10th, 12th, graduation marks, work experience, engineer or non engineer, gender with different weightages. You need to score above this min. score in order to be eligible for further evaluation.
One of my friend in scored 99.83 percentile in CAT 2015 and didn't got a call from IIM A because he was not able to surpass the min. score by other parameters because of his poor academic records. He consecutively scored 99.28 and 99.68 in 2016 and 2017. He didn't got a call from IIM A for interview any of the time.
The percentile for getting a call from IIM A for interview goes down if you are a non engineer or if you are a OBC, SC or ST candidate. As mentioned in other answer it was gone down to 88 percentile due to the above factors I mentioned.
Otherwise you need to score above 99.67 percentile in order to get a call from IIM A.
The whole process is not simple and I don't want you to have any illusion that's why I have told you all in detail.
As less than 2 months are left for CAT exam so quickly brush up with your basics and give up lots of mock test and analyse them which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile.
All the best!!
