Hello Pinki, if i am to believe the current news, then it is true that number of seats have been increased in the various government medical colleges in Bihar.

The Union ministry of health and family welfare has increased 190 MBBS seats in different medical colleges in Bihar. This has been done to accommodate students under 10% quota for the economically weaker section in general category.

More than 4000 seats have been increased in Govt Medical Colleges throughout india.

Dear Pinki, The Union ministry of health and family welfare has increased 190 MBBS seats in different medical colleges in Bihar. The additional seats have been allocated to accommodate students under 10% quota for the economically weaker section (EWS) in general category. Overall, more than 4,000 seats have been increased all over the country and admission will begin from this academic session.
