sir somebody are telling that I'm not eligible for neet because i have 70% hearing loss...i have PWD quota but I'm not eligible for neet as above than 40 percent....I'm very confused nd somebody tells that im eligible for neet with PWD quota..which statement is right????

As per the information available in the NEET 2021 Brochure regarding eligibility of candidates for the MBBS program, here is what it states regarding person with hearing impairment (deaf/ hard of hearing) -
• Candidate WILL BE ELIGIBLE for Medical Course but not able to avail the reservation (PwD Quota) if the disability is less than 40%
• Candidate WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE* for medical course if the disability is equal or more than 40%
****** Persons with hearing disability of more than 40% MAY BE MADE ELIGIBLE to pursue MBBS Course and may be given reservation, subject to the condition that the hearing disability is brought to a level of less than the benchmark of 40% with the aid of assistive devices. In addition to this, the individual should have a speech discrimination score of more than 60%.
