Hi,
I went through the CLAT eligibility for

UG Programme

  1. There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT 2018.

  2. As regards minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2), the candidates must have secured:

    1. Forty five percent (45%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories, and

    2. Forty Percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) categories.

  3. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April, 2018 are also eligible to appear in CLAT-2018 online examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.

  4. The result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.

  5. In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and order as under:

    1. Higher marks in the component /section on legal aptitude in the CLAT-2018 exam;

    2. Higher age;

If you have completed your schooling in systematic way then you can do LLB. If you have done qulified your Graduate degree with minimum 45% of the total marks (for SC/ST 40%) then you are eligible for doing the course.According to the BCI rules: "The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/post graduation through open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law courses."

As you completed your degree before completing Inter you are not eligible for LLB on the basis of Bachelor Degree. However you can give CLAT if you fulfil the Eligibility rqfuired for it and take admission in 5 year integrated LLB programme. I hope it helps!

I went through the CLAT eligibility for UG ProgrammeIf it remains unchanged for the next edition you can go for CLAT 2019 on the basis of your Class 12 result, if you fulfil the required pass percentage parameter. And there is a good news NALSAR Hyderabad which admits students on the basis of CLAT score has 21 seats (General -16, SC-3, ST-2) reserved for Telengana students. I hope it helps!
