Sir tell me about GATE and GRE

GATE is a competitive exam for people who have done undergraduate courses like B.tech, BE and qualifying it makes you eligible to apply to PSUs for core sector jobs or master's/PhD in the finest institutions of the country like IITs or NITs or IIITs etc. It is quite difficult and requires proper study.

GRE is for people who want to go for MS or PHD in technical fields abroad. Your score would ensure your admission in even the top universities in the world.

See GATE is a nation level exam that you take when you want to take admission in Post graduate courses of Engineering in various colleges of India and you often require a valid GATE score for jobs in PSUs while GRE is an exam that you take when you want to pursue your post graduation in Engineering from Abroad like USA, Canada etc.

GATE is an exam taken by students after graduation or last year of graduation to take admission in NITs or IITs or for that sake any college which has MTech degree classes. Using gate score, one can get jobs in PSUs also.
